Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox studied flute, piano and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 1970s. The budget of her was augmented by a stipend for students and part-time jobs. In the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill compared to her student classmates and she pondered what alternative route she could take. Lennox began her career as a flute-player with the group Dragons Playground. She quit the group prior to their appearance as a guest on I.T.V's talents show New Faces. Her main role was as the singer of The Tourists from 1977 until 1980. She met Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. After that, Lennox started working on her first solo album Diva and it was released in the year 1992. The album was an enormous hit both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album came out in October of 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's favourite blues, jazz, and soul songs from her youth. Lepidoptera is a collection of four songs that were improvised by piano, which Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. is the companion album for her installation of art at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called"Now I'll Let You go... It's also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox (born December 25, 1954) is a Scottish musician and political activist.
