Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter of Richard McCormick. She was born on August 5th, 1956 at Woodland Hills California. She was raised by an aunt who worked as an housewife, and her father who taught. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three older brothers. Beginning at a very early stage of life, McCormick enjoyed singing and dance, and she would frequently perform puppet shows for the neighborhood children. When she was just 6years old, she won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her to ask whether she was interested in a career in showbusiness. McCormick was hired to star in her first big role in 1964 in a tv commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she starred in another commercial with the company's Chatty Cathy doll and was soon cast in the play Wind It up and It Breaks on stage at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won the 1969 audition of more than 1200 children to become the youngest of three twin daughters in The Brady Bunch TV show The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed together with Robert Reed. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick's book Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was published in the year 2008. The book revealed the fact that McCormick was close to losing her virginity on the set of the series during its fifth season to Barry Williams. He was just 19. She was just 16. It could have been according to her. But, the time of our romance was not the right one.
