Maureen FitzSimons, better known as Maureen O'Hara in America, was a child prodigy. As a person with Irish origins, who was surrounded her by talented parents and family members did this naturally. Maureen made her entrance into the sanctity of family on the 17th of August 1920 in Ranelagh (a suburb within Dublin), Ireland. Marguerita FitzSimons was a talented contralto. His father, Charles FitzSimons, managed a business in Dublin and was also the owner of the renowned Irish soccer team "The Shamrock Rovers." Maureen FitzSimons placed second from a family of six FitzSimons. Peggy FitzSimons Florrie Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons James O'Hara rounded off the gorgeous family. Maureen did well in sports and enjoyed playing rough sports. Furthermore her talent, she also had a knack for acting. She took home almost every Feis Award for Theater and Drama which her nation had to give. The Abbey Theater was her first choice. Abbey Theater by age 14, and she was able to fulfill her goals of opera and classical singing and theater.
