Maureen FitzSimons' early achievements in performing arts (now called Maureen O'Hara), would be a part of America's child prodigies list. But for a person from Irish background, surrounded by talented parents and family, these were very natural traits. Maureen was born in Ranelagh - a suburb of Dublin the capital of Ireland on the 17th of August 1920. Marguerita FitzSimons was a gifted contralto. The father of her, Charles FitzSimons, managed the business of Dublin and was also the owner of the renowned Irish soccer team "The Shamrock Rovers."
