Jennifer Lopez

JenniferJennifer always dreamed of being a multi-tasking superstar. Growing up she was a fan of a range of musical genres, mainly Afro-Caribbean styles like salsa merengue, bachata and merengue, as well as pop music, hip-hop and R&B. Though she was passionate about movies, the music industry fascinated her as well. West Side Story (1961) was the Rita Moreno musical that inspired her the most and was her most significant source of inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Alongside being a talented professional entertainer Jennifer had also been a Catholic schoolgirl. She attended for eight years of an Catholic elementary school named Holy Family, located within The Bronx, before graduating at an all-girls pre-school, Preston High School after an entire four years. Jennifer was an accomplished athlete, who played track and fields and tennis in school, was an impressive pupil. Her entire life was upbringing in a two-story house in the Castle Hill neighborhood. At 18, Jennifer moved out of her parents' home. In the meantime, Lopez worked at a legal firm. She also took dancing gigs at night.
